Since the Vantage Pro2™ updates data every 2.5 seconds, the data you are viewing is real time.
The new Vantage Pro2™ uses frequency hopping spread spectrum radio that can transmit and receive data up to 1000' (300 m) line of sight. That's over three football fields in length and three times farther than most other stations in this price range! In addition, it gives improved reception over multiple walls and greater immunity from RF interference.
The large LCD display shows outdoor temperature and humidity, indoor temperature and humidity, barometric pressure and trends, wind speed and direction, time of day or time of sunrise and sunset, and phases of the moon.
Rainfall totals for the day, month, year, and storm can be viewed, and you can add additional indices. You can set over 35 alarms for different functions and choose from over 80 different graphs to be displayed. A text screen shows the current forecast.
The integrated sensor suite (rainfall collector, temperature and humidity sensors, and anemometer) is solar powered, shielded from solar radiation, easy to set up, and very reliable.
