DIC-3 Handheld Digital Anemometer

This digital, hand-held DIC-3 from Maximum features a unique folding 3-cup design. Cups collapse for easy storage. To determine wind speed, simply open the folded cups and hold the instrument in a wind current. Unlike fan type hand held anemometers that must be aimed precisely into the wind, the wind tunnel tested accuracy in this instrument is not affected by its position. Wind direction is variable and this unit records accurately from any direction.


The unit has four selectable scales - ­ MPH, Knots, km/h or m/s to be shown on the LCD screen. A 9V battery powers the LCD for up to 70 hours of continuous use. DIC3 provides reading up to 125 MPH for instantaneous velocity, highest gust since reset, and average speed over a 2 or 5 minute period.

Dimensions - 2" wide x 2" deep x 6" high with 5.75 " diameter cup assembly.
